Coverage is guaranteed issue, meaning no health questions or medical exams are required to enroll, and all eligible employees pay the same rate. 

Critical Illness Insurance

Critical Illness Insurance through Anthem helps provide financial support if you or a covered family member is diagnosed with a qualifying critical illness, such as cancer, heart attack, or stroke.

This coverage pays a lump-sum cash benefit directly to you upon diagnosis of a covered condition. The benefit is paid in addition to any medical or disability coverage you may have, and the money can be used however you choose. Many choose to use funds to help pay for deductibles, copays, prescriptions, transportation, or everyday household expenses while focusing on recovery.

You have the flexibility to choose coverage that fits your needs in the amounts of $5, $10k, $20k, or $30k. Enrollment is guaranteed issue during your first enrollment period, so there are no health questions or medical exams required. If you enroll, you may also choose to add coverage for your spouse and eligible children.
