Welcoming a new child — through birth or adoption — is an exciting milestone. As your family grows, taking a few thoughtful steps can help ensure your benefits continue to support your health, finances, and day-to-day needs.

What You Need to Do

  • Review your time off options to understand available parental leave and how to plan your time away.
  • Update your benefits in the UKG Portal within 30 days of your child’s birth or adoption to add them to your coverage.
  • Provide documentation, such as a birth certificate or adoption papers, through the UKG Portal within 30 days.
  • Enroll in Building Healthy Families for personalized support — whether you’re planning for pregnancy, expecting, adopting, or raising young children.
  • Get help with Overalls: Life Concierge, offering hands-on support with childcare searches, baby product research, appointment scheduling, and managing your growing to-do list.
